Opening day at Marmot Basin was the best snow I expect to ski all year! I have never seen opening day conditions like this before! Although there were only 18 runs open, the discounted tickets and lack of other skiers more than made up for it. I paid (or invested, which is how I like to see it) $35 to make fresh tracks ALL DAY. Saturday, November 11 was an epic day and I'm sorry for those who missed it. If I don't see snow like that again for the rest of the year, I won't be disappointed because I got my fill this weekend!
